Guy Russo has been selected as the Liberal Democrat candidate for Enfield & Haringey
Born and raised in the local area, he will contest the seat at the next London Election in May.
Lifelong local resident and former pub manager Guy Russo has been selected as the Lib Dem candidate for Enfield & Haringey ahead of this May’s London Elections.
“I have lived in North London my whole life. I grew up in Enfield, and went to school at Chace Community.” said Guy
“I love our green, vibrant boroughs. I can’t stand watching them get let down time and time again. Right now, everything feels broken. The GLA and Mayor could be doing so much more.
“I will push TfL to start getting a basic thing right - make the buses run on time.
“I will protect our local parks - from Whitewebbs to Finsbury Park, and keep them open to the public.
“And I will challenge the Metropolitan Police until they win back the trust of our communities, especially women & girls and ethnic minorities.”
“Labour have held this seat for too long and take our votes for granted. Looking around, do you really feel they have run our area well?”
It’s time for a different approach. If elected Guy will do what Liberal Democrats do best - act as a strong local champion for our area.
